About YEF

Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) is a global movement of creative Christian youth committed to Christ's cause. More than merely adopting the popular cliché of "youths are leaders of tomorrow", YEF seeks to empower young leaders of today to embrace their youthfulness yet living exemplary lives; proclaiming not of themselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord (1 Tim 4:12, 2 Cor 4:5).

Ignited by the vision to empower the youth of this generation to impact their campuses, countries and the world for God's glory, YEF was birthed in a rather humble yet promising "mustard seed"-like setting.

It began in 2000 in the cities New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco by college students who actively sought for God to plant a new revival in their campus. This movement subsequently inspired many Christian individuals on its neighboring campuses, before being spread out rapidly among many major US cities. YEF chapters could be found today in many parts of the world.

YEF local centers at international locations operate as grassroots organizations, as the movement centers more on regional and local level instead of a top-down hierarchical association. However, there are regional centers that provide staffs with ministry trainings and relevant resources. The nationwide conferences and bi-annual international retreats unite all YEF as one big family of Christ.

"It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is smaller than all the seeds that are upon the soil, yet when it is sown, it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and forms large branches; so that the birds of the air can nest under its shade." (Mark 4:31-32).

It is with much hope that as YEF continues to grow internationally, youths from diverse backgrounds yield themselves unto God and His vision, equip themselves with Biblical education towards fueling their passion to embody kingdom-driven lifestyles; all for God's glory!
